Altered Canvas I Made for My Parents

Hi all. I wanted to share with you an altered canvas I made for my parents.

All the supplies used came from my moms stash. I started with a 3x3 canvas that my mom bought for me at joanns. Then I modpodge on the back ground paper. I took a chipboard heart from maya road and painted it black then added red, white, and black embossing powders to it and then covered the whole heart with UTEE. My mom had this really pretty sparkly heart button that I hot glued to the top. I then glued a feather to the back and then glued the chipboard heart to the middle. I then added the pearl trim to the side and layered some trim on top of the pearls. Next I added 3 roses to the corner and cut out the word love from one of the sizzlets that my mom gave to me. I covered it with the same color embossing powders that i used for the heart. Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Card

This week Nutcrafters is having a challenge for us to make a Christmas card for a friend. 

This is my card using a stamp  that my mom won from them.

I colored him with my markers and the paper is scraps from my mom.

the trees and lites are made from a cricut them I put snow on the trees.
